The Weather
The weather on the west coast is unpredictable and should always be considered before heading into the hills or out on the water. At Sea to Skye we use a number of forecast providers including the Met Office and less known websites such as MWIS for our mountain forecast and XCWeather for our sea kayak activities.
Accommodation
Kintail Outdoor Centre is run by the National Trust for Scotland and is used to accommodate many of our residential courses. Sleeping up to 20 persons it is ideal for group booking of 10 or more persons. For further details contact [email protected]
Kintail Lodge Hotel offer both high quality and budget accommodation for small groups. The hotel also serves excellent meals throughout out the season, which is great after a long day on the hill.
SYHA: Offers excellent hostel accommodation at Ratagan on the shore of Loch Duich and at Broadford on the Isle of Skye.
Nia Roo: Is a new holiday cottage on the shore of Loch Duich in an ideal location for mountain and water based activities.
