If you have already gained some basic sea kayaking skills and want to develop them further, then this course may be the one for you. During this week, you will develop your skills while exploring some of our rugged coastal scenery such as Loch Bracadale, Rubha Huinish and the Sleat Peninsula to name but a few. This is a lodge based week running from the National Trust for Scotland’s Outdoor Centre at Kintail. Each day we will travel to a new area, which will allow you to experience a full range of kayaking environments under the guidance of our local instructors who will not just share their kayaking skills with you but also their in-depth knowledge of the area’s history and culture.
We provide: All the kayaking equipment and give you the opertunity to try out different designs of kayaks. Cagools, buoyancy aids and wetsuits are also provided. We recommend that you take along an old pair of trainers or wetsuit boots with a good sole as we find them to be better than wet shoes on the rocky shores.
