Hill Walking Adventures
At Sea to Skye Xperience we offer hill walking opportunities in Skye, Knoydart, Kintail and Glen Affric. So, whether you want to spend a week “Munro Bagging” in an area which offers one of the highest concentration of Munros (mountain over 3000ft) in Scotland, or maybe you are just looking for a leisurely afternoon ramble to experience some of the area’s culture and history we will have an experience for you.
We also offer advice on self guided walks throughout the area of Skye and Lochalsh. All our guides are keen local outdoor enthusiasts so are able to give you the best tips on hill walking in the area.
The Affric Kintail Way
We will take you on one of the most spectacular scenery in the Highands. Taking you from Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness through the Caledonian Pinewoods of Glen Affric.
The Five Sisters of Kintail
The iconic Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range rises from sea level to 1067m. We have partnered with the National Trust for Scotland’s Ranger Service to offer a spectacular traverse along this breath-taking ridge.
The Knoydart Munros
Gain the true wild Knoydart experience with the National Trust for Scotland ranger. We access Knoydart by boat via Loch Hourn, tackling the Munros Luinne Bheinn, Meall Bhuidhe and Ladhar Bheinn, with two nights spent in good quality accommodation at Inverie.
Glen Afffric Munros
This three day trip will take you over some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes the Highlands has to offer. Where on a clear day you can see the Cuillin of Skye to the west and the Cromarty Firth to the east and all standing on one hill.
Kayaking & Walking Expeditions
These 2-3 day trips will leave from South Skye or Plockton (depending on weather) and give participants an opportunity to experience some of the last wilderness areas of Scotland. The knowledge and expertise of our staff will ensure that your trip will be a memorable one.
