Sea Kayaking: Skye Spar Cave
Spar Cave is located on the coast of the Strathaird Peninsula and makes a fantastic journey from Elgol harbour along the cliffs of Suidhe Biorach, past Prince Charles’s Cave and Strathaird Island where there are often seals and otters in the bays. The more sheltered cliffs of Glasnakille with their native woodland are followed to the steep inlet where the cave is situated.

Our family kayak days are aimed at getting everyone out on the water. We have a number of double kayaks to allow us to pair up parents and children, enabling you to explore the area safely, and single kayaks for those big enough to paddle on their own. There are numerous locations suitable for families around Kintail and Skye and our instructors will discuss the options with you prior to booking.
We provide: All the kayaking equipment and give you the opportunity to try out different designs of kayaks. Cagools and wetsuits are also provided. We recommend that you take along an old pair of trainers as we find them to be better than wet shoes on the rocky shores.
