Multi Day Adventures

At Sea to Skye Xperience we offer a range of multi day guided sea kayaking and walking expeditions around the Isle of Skye, Knoydart the Small Isles to name but a few. We are able to design bespoke trips to meet either individual or group needs. Whether you want to go Munro Bagging (Mountains over 3000ft) around the remote bounds of Knoydart or explore the Isle of Skye or the Small Isles by Kayak then hopefully at Sea to Skye we can taylor an experience just for you.

What's including in the cost: 

All Kayaking equipment including a choice of plastic or fiberglass kayaks. Camping equipment includes tents and thermarest sleep mat along with cooking kit including stove and pots etc. Contact us for more detail.

We don't include food but it can be added at £15.00 per head per day.  

Knoydart Sea Kayaking and Walking Week.

Bringing sea kayaking and Munro Bagging together, this trip allows participants the unrestricted freedom to explore the remote peninsula of Knoydart while bagging a few Munros, not to forget savouring the hospitality of Britain's remotest pub. The week will include a combination of kayaking and hillwalking although alternative low level walks may be offered should the weather dictate. We will gauge the abilities of the group before we start which will hopefully ensure that the week meets your expectations.

Skye, Raasay and Applecross Kayak Tour. 

This four day Sea Kayaking trip is one of the classic trips on the West Coast of Scotland. We will take you on a leisurely circumnavigation of Raasay and South Rhona on the Inner Sound between Skye and the mainland. We offer a unique opportunity to explore the islands' culture and history which include the long since deserted villages in the north and the spectacular geology of the east coast with water falls cascading into the sea.  Brochel Castle sits on a stac like volcanic plug and the surrounding area offers one of the few campsites on the east coast of the Island. The Rassay, Rhona Trip  can be extended into a 5 or 6 day trips by visiting other islands within the Inner Sound including the Applecross mainland.

Hebridian Island Expedition 

This year our Hebridean Sea Kayaking trip will explore the islands of of Harris and Lewis with their golden beaches and deserted islands such as Taransay and  Scarp. These remote islands are  steeped in a culture and history that has shaped their very existence over  thousands of years. Our guides will share their knowledge and skills with you as you kayak through this amazing Hebridean landscape. This is a tent based trip although bunk houses and B&B are occasionally an option should the weather be inclement.

Dates: 5th-11th July 2020. 
Duration: 7 days.

Sea Kayaking Isle of Skye Week 2nd-7th August 2020

This kayaking week will explore the best kayaking areas on Skye. Unlike many of our trips this is a lodge based trip. We will travel each day to various kayaking venues throughout the Isle of Skye exploring some of the best kayaking that Skye has to offer. We will head out each day to a new venue taking into account local weather conditions and kayak along backdrops such as the Black Cuillin, the Sleat Peninsula, Loch Bracadale and Rubha Huinish in the north of the island. As well as amazing scenery we would hope to allow you to experience the Islands wildlife at first hand such as otters, sea eagles and common seals. We can arrange a variety of accommodation from bunk house self-catering to upmarket B&B.  

Cost start at £500.00 with self-catering accommodation.    


Sea-Kayak-Canna 1

Small Isles Kayak  Expedition including Rum, Canna and Eigg.

Canna and its larger neighbour Rum, offer an amazing kayaking venue. Join us and paddle through some spectacular sea caves while exploring the rich waters around these islands in the hope of spotting basking sharks and minke whales which frequent these waters during the Summer months. This is truly one of the best kayaking trips for wildlife in the UK.

North West Kayak Tour (Summer Isles and Handa Island)   

The Summer Isles are an archipelago just a short distance from the Coigach peninsula in the North West Highlands. This trip uses a combination of formal and wild campsites. Your adventure comes in two parts and depending on weather, you will explore this magical group of islands which allow for some spectacular encounters with local wildlife. You will get at least one night's, wild camping on the Summer Isles. The second half of the week will see the group moving further north to the Scourie area to do a circumnavigation of Handa Island which is a must for any sea kayaker. You will explore some dramatic sea caves and experience one of Scotlands internationally important sea bird colonies. If the weather allows, we will paddle to Sandwood Bay for a final overnight camp on one of the most majestic beaches in Scotland and possibly our favourite place to spend a night.
